Sticky, sweet, and so very addicting! This easy, ooey-gooey, delicious NO BAKE recipe comes together in the microwave with minimal ingredients and is a crowd pleaser for sure! Try to eat just one :)

OK fine, rice krispies are always great. No matter what, a rice krispy will hit the spot. But for me, everything has to be a little ~extra~. How do we make rice krispies ~extra~? Well, you FILL THEM WITH CARAMEL! That is how. I’m an addict- of the caramel sort.. Lucky for you, the caramel sauce is super EASY to make with just 3 ingredients (and in the microwave)! Don’t walk- RUN to the store and get the ingredients below.

Caramel Stuffed Rice Krispies!

Ingredients

Rice Krispie Layers

  • 12 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Halved
  • 10 Cups Rice Krispies, Halved
  • 8 Cups Mini Marshmallows, Halved
  • Additional Mini Marshmallows For Sprinkling

Caramel Filling

  • 1 Package Caramel Kraft Bits (11 Ounces)
  • 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 Ounces)
  • 8 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • Sprinkle Of Sea Salt (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Make the caramel layer: Microwave the caramel bits, butter, and condensed milk in a microwave safe dish for 30 second increments, stirring in between until melted and smooth when stirred. Feel free to add a sprinkle of sea salt to the caramel mixture if you prefer salted caramel!
  3. Make Rice Krispie Layer #1: Microwave 6 tablespoons butter and 4 cups marshmallows in 30 second increments and stir until melted. Stir in 5 cups of Rice Krispie Cereal and press into the pan.
  4. Pour the caramel over the Rice Krispie layer.
  5. Sprinkle on additional mini marshmallows and allow to chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  6. Make Rice Krispie Layer #2: Use the remaining krispie ingredients and repeat directions (Microwave 6 tablespoons butter and 4 cups marshmallows in 30 second increments and stir until melted. Stir in 5 cups of Rice Krispie Cereal) Press this layer on top of the marshmallows and caramel layer then return to the freezer for 15 minutes.
  7. Allow to chill in the fridge for at least an hour before cutting.
